Anger…Drinking
Anger…Drinking
She's dreading the very moment
He walks through that door
She knows when he is drinking
She ends up on the floor
She pretends that she is sleeping
Hoping he won't care
But once the door is open
His actions say beware
He throws off all the covers
He grabs her by the hair
He calls her many names
Continuing to swear
She tries to get away
But he is way too strong
He throws her to the ground
She knows it won't be long
She coils up in a ball
Ready for his kicks
He gives her all he's got
Until it makes her sick
He gets into their bed
He quickly falls asleep
Lying on the floor
She begins to weep
Every Friday night
Her life ends up like this
The pain that she endures
Is this wedded bliss?
He claims that he does love her
But how can this be love?
He says he's not himself
When push turns to shove
Anger from his drinking
He claims it's not his fault
She is slowly sinking
This torture must soon stop
If he truly loves her
His drinking must all stop
But he keeps believing
He's the cream of the crop
Isn't it amazing?
This man he is a cop
