Another author recently crossed my path~~~~
I'm proud to display her works here~~~
MY GRANDMA AND I
My Grandma and I had many good times together.
We'd sit on the front porch and talk about good times and bad.
Many of which were a little bit sad.
She loved good gospel singing, and I loved to sing,
So every time I'd visit her we'd make those glory bells ring.
We'd sing together and all the neighbors could hear,
But that was alright, because we were having the time of our lives, My grandma and I.
I also remember the homemade biscuits she'd bake and fresh jellies and jam.
And there always seemed to be just enough to go around.
She was a short lady in statue had a heart as good as gold.
She never complained about anything and lived to be very old.
Oh, how I cherish those "good old days,"
Sunday afternoons just sitting with my Grandma in the shade.
We loved each other and she was special in all her ways.
She's now living in Heaven with her Savior,
And I miss those happy times we shared.
Having fun times together just my grandma and I.
But one day the Lord will take us all home,
And I'll see Grandma again, she'll be shouting and singing with all of us around God's throne.
