May there always be happiness in your life..
Today and everyday...
Yesterday will always be ours,
Today nothing but empty hours,
Tomorrow no beautiful flowers.
Yesterday was full of happy hours,
Today is full of rainy showers,
Tomorrow dark and gloomy it towers.
Yesterday was full of hope,
Today is just a slippery slope,
Tomorrow I`ll learn how to cope.
Yesterday was ever so bright,
Today seems to be constant night,
Tomorrow I`ll try to win the fight.
Yesterday my future was clear,
Today you are nowhere near,
Tomorrow my future`s unclear.
Yesterday your lips gently touched mine,
Today, of you, there is no sign,
Tomorrow I will taste bitter wine.
Yesterday your arms around me you would put,
Today, in it, I have put my foot,
Tomorrow, on the past, the door I must shut.
If yesterday were today
I`d be happy this way.
If today were tomorrow
I`d steer us from any sorrow.
And I`d pray tomorrow would never come.
