Oh the passion, the drama, the sorrow, so bittersweet this life can be
As we journey on this path how many do we touch or change or even see
Was it promised us that we could go though life untouched without a worldly care
Have we made any difference to anyone at all just because we were there?
Life has so many valid lessons that along the way we must absorb as we go
Is it more important to love or to be loved by others; and how will we ever know
Must we be forever reaching out to others though we may be turned always away
And will we learn the answer to the mysteries of this life as we journey on our way
