ENTER POST 60s - Good Bye USA
ENTER POST 60s
My world of stripes and stars
seems lost behind the mess
we made of this life, my country,
My World.
I helped by doing nothing.
Bought it, wore it, threw it away.
Bought it again, different color.
My pretend extends beyond,
Far beyond, the surface of my smile,
What will this chameleon asked to be next?
Can you say totalitarian?
The United Americas.
Can't you just sense it in the air?
If it happens, how will YOU fare?
