Eye Eye, Look What We Have Here!!

Eye's to the left, eyes to the right,
Oh holy cow what a wonderful sight!
I can see above, and see the birds in the sky,
All around I see Nature, I think I'm going to cry!

The grass is lush green, the trees are tall…
They haven't altered since I was small!
I look to the Heavens, and I recall,
Things from my past, things which enthral…

And I sweep my eyes left, what do I see?
I see a bird nesting in an old oak tree.
Looking to the right, what do I see now?
I see lambs and sheep, and a grazing cow.

When I look around the park, I smell the air,
I wonder will I remember it when my sight isn't there.
And I look to the dog, chasing the cat…
And the children eating a picnic, where they sat!

And I look to the Heaven's, where it is He resides,
Thinking to myself, if from me He hides!
No matter how hard I look, to my left or my right,
If I can't see Him now, will I without sight?

But I 'think' I will see Him in my minds eye…
And if I don't there's no way that I'll cry!
For I have to say it, I accept this life given to me,
And do what I do best, and give my thanks to He!

For without Him in my life, I wouldn't be here this day!
For at times I need help, I raise my eyes and pray;
Hoping God will help me through my plight.
And let me awake, to the morning bright.

…No matter I can see, or not…

Because I am alive this day!
