God's Mysterious Ways~~~by Shell

A "Warm-N-Cozy" Greeting

The following email was sent to me following
 A prayer request this person
had asked for regarding her nephew,
who had been killed in a car accident.

Her words so impressed me,
I thought you might like to
see how God works in mysterious ways~~~

Praise the Lord! Yes, God does work in mysterious ways....... like I told my brother in law when he said he has been asking God since his son died, why him, why not take me instead, blaming God for the death out of anger and he said sis what kind of God would allow something like this to happen....... I said Billy, I asked all of those same things when Earl passes away ... but, like the Lord says, we are not to question why......we are just to accept, learn from this and go on...... I told him who knows, if young William had not been taken in this terrible accident, he may have turned away from God for whatever reason...... I told him that our life here is like a wisp of air, a vapor per se, and that the Lord knows when we will go because He has numbered our days on this earth just as He knows every hair on our heads.......I told him to be grateful that he had his son for the 26 years he walked this earth, look back on the memories, both good and bad...... think of the funny things he did as a little one.... that the Lord wants us to remember our loved ones and he knows we will mourn their physical loss but that we should rejoice in their salvation and the fact they are now in heaven where we have to worry no more about them.........
We only ask the questions and get mad at God and everyone around us because we mourn the loss of our loved ones, which were, and are, and forever more will be part of us.......
when we loose a child, a part of us literally dies, and, that's where we need to learn the lesson, and revive that part that died in us,
If we bring it back up from the depths; our sorrow and loss can and will be someone else's comfort......
so long as we never forget ...
if we forget, then we loose the lesson and the meaning of everything......
so, we live the hard times, remember, learn and go on.....
God never places more on our plates than we can deal with, NEVER......
We may not always agree with that and feel we are being over whelmed and emotionally worked over time, but, God is our strength and He will sustain us........
I know what I said to my brother in law helped him, he thanked me and said if he gets stuck in a rut with all this he will call me out for another pep talk..... and, I will be there for him without batting an eye......
I believe that the things I have gone through on this earth were all placed on my proverbial plate so that I could help others,
I love people in general, but my softest spots are the little children, young adults and senior citizens and the disabled.....
I feel like I am what some call an OLD SOUL... I have been through more than others my age, and, have in fact been through more than some people that live to be 100.......
My deep down desire is that when I walk past people on the street that I don't know, they will be able to say now there goes a woman of God... I want people to sense his presence in my life and know that he has placed the things in my life that have happened there so I can help others.....
Well, I think I got carried away here, hope I did not bore you too awfully much......
Have a wonderful night and a great day tomorrow.
Love you much dear sis.....
love me too,

shell
