Heart Of The Matter
Inspired?
And what would inspire me?
To write, to speak, to hear,
To touch, and to feel,
To hope and to heal ……..
Love is the source,
Of all inspiration,
A sight, a sound,
A perfect melody,
Crafted by gifted souls,
Created from part,
To whole, and held,
In very high esteem,
Presented freely,
In verse,
For your pleasure,
Or disdain,
And held against me,
In the name of truth,
And in love, and light,
By utter tyranny,
The treacherous tyrants,
They too are inspired,
By maniacal power,
And the will,
To self-destruct.
