Spunky Spiders
There once was a spider called Jack,
Who loved to lie on his back.
He did it all day,
Had nothing to say,
And was really rather slack.
There once was a spider called Jill,
Who one day rolled down the hill.
She bumped into Jack,
Who was still on his back,
So ran off with spunky Bill.
There once was a spider called Bill,
Who was looking out for a thrill.
He rang the church bell,
Then fell down the well,
And ended up getting a chill.
Joy Weare.
29th March, 2006.
