DisobediencePlease listen to reason, Heeding to what I say; It is as an act of treason, When you do not obey. At the time of our birth, Someone will be over you, While living on this earth; In telling you what to do. Some things you disfavor, Since it is not as you feel; As you just can not savor, Because it gives no zeal. So it is not of an interest, And more likely you refuse; Not to honor such request, For not matching your views. If you take a different path, That is a sin when you defy; God will not spare the wrath, For in Christ you also deny. Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2006 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
