Dolls are a keepsake, treasured with care,
While some are as cuddly as a teddy bear,
Others have their own unique display,
For the artist did not create them for play.
It takes an extra mile of integrity,
To reach this type of creativity,
So do not hasten at the reality,
Of remaining stable in this activity.
Since dolls have no mind of their own,
We create one, as if they have grown,
By adding lots of loving care,
A form of custody we bear.
You may not agree with my philosophy,
Caring for dolls as if they're like you and me,
Just do your search a bit more carefully,
Then you'll note the pals I've made of quality.
Grateful am I to bear,
All my doll pals out there,
Whether near or far,
You're the best of the best by far!
