Well shodShe strutted down that street in her two tone shoes High heels tapping clacking beating out the news Real woman approaching fully awake and alert Entrancing me with the rhythmic swing of her skirt Hem swishing and moving just above those knees I saw her I loved her I so wanted just to please She looked fiery she looked flighty she looked complete Oh how that lady there took full command of that street She most certainly saw me She chose to just ignore me As with head held so high She progressed regally by My eyes caressed her They undressed her Took in her fire Maybe I gave a moan of desire She saw me she looked at me her gaze took me in She heard me she observed me she gave me a grin Just for a second I imagined she could be mine I think at that moment the sun began to shine Then those two toned shod lovely clad two feet Took her down across the road and out of our street I chose a place to stand which just had to be right For me to watch her progress way out of my sight Vote for this poem
