Misguided SeekingThrough our lives you try to seek, Peace and happiness in your heart; In your search it makes you weak, Causing of the Lord you to depart. So vulnerable to the temptation, That Satan will throw your way; And not aware of the damnation, All because you decided to stray. When tempted you become blind, Not even mindful of your future; Since it feels so enticingly kind, Satisfying your personal pleasure. Before you know it is too late, And Satan has you in his grasp; Feeling doomed your obvious fate, Being bitten by his venomous asp. Fear not for you to escape the lure, Pray to the Lord God and confess; He will be able to give you a cure, As He forgives you and to bless.
