 BE GLAD
Be glad he's out of your space
Still you've your own place
While he has to share with a woman
Who doesn't even care if he's coming

Over, she has to put up with him forever
Do you really want that giant endeavor?
His love, did he ever prove it to you?
Is it more that you were just lost in his baby blues?

Get other love, you know it's there
Over and over he said he didn't care
How I feel or what I need
Listen to to him and take heed

Remember he said, "screw you"
Then worse, "screw your feelings too"
When you know emotion is all you're about
Be glad, beautiful soul, he's out

Of your kisses and serving him
Realize you were nothing with them
Together in a house most every night
Was that anyway for a man to do you right?
