 THE CLEANSING OF FOURTEEN MOONS
Fourteen months, two weeks
Six long days
All of you seeks
To know his ways

The ways of a mean jerk
Who treats you wrong
Don't allow them to lurk
In your heart's song

Here in your mind
To you be kind
Wash off the feel
Of what was unreal

Take a bath
And laugh
You cleanse the wrath
Of the dirty path

You skipped for his affection
Cleansing correction
Scrub that skin on you face
The dirt will come off be replaced

With a woman shiny new
Who's cleansed herself of the likes of you
Her showers are now not made from tears
He chose Marie and proved all your fears

Now, he's done
Being for this one
Which is okay as it won't stink
His choices won't push you over the brink

Jumping over the fifteenth moon
Be here real soon
As he can stay with her,
I can wash away that we once were.
