Heart Of The Matter
Such A Shame
She sits just staring,
Into space,
A nothingness,
About her face,
No sparkle in her,
Grey-blue eyes,
Reflected in the,
Grey blue skies,
No recognition,
As we speak,
Where has she gone?
She, whom we seek,
She has no smile,
To light the way,
Just sitting staring,
Day by day,
By night, she's led,
Submissively,
A single bed,
A dormitory,
Awake, asleep,
It's all the same,
He stole her soul,
It's such a shame.
Into space,
A nothingness,
About her face,
No sparkle in her,
Grey-blue eyes,
Reflected in the,
Grey blue skies,
No recognition,
As we speak,
Where has she gone?
She, whom we seek,
She has no smile,
To light the way,
Just sitting staring,
Day by day,
By night, she's led,
Submissively,
A single bed,
A dormitory,
Awake, asleep,
It's all the same,
He stole her soul,
It's such a shame.
