So much in life so far I've gone through
And in darkness pain in my heart continually grew
I was so sad and lonely, and everything was so blue
I've seen the leaves from the trees fall
In my heart I've seen sorrows poured and crawl
I've catched myself just staring up at blank walls
Sometimes no knowing what was actually false or true
There have been times I've lost all my way
And times I didn't know what else more to say
So much in life that we all have to go through
So much sorrows and tears,my soul is truly blue
I've seen nights in and day's displayed
The sweet smile of a child and sin's decay
So much life collects, we're here due to pay
And there's no other way out; this I say to you.
