CELESTIAL ETERNITY

So Far Away

Standing here all alone
Waiting for my home
Heaven is so hard to reach
Paradise is far away

Yet my star still shines
In the movements of the night
Glory to the King
Lord Christ
He is God above all
The higher wisdom of everything,

I must believe by carrying on
Like Son to the Father,
And Father to the Son
Lord please be my shepherd
Carefully my soul please guide,

Save me from darkness
Save my heart from its evil nature
Protect my soul from demise

Help me to be forever free
Lord in your name I pray
By asking for your great mercy
Please don't leave this cry alone
Please have pity on my soul,

I must believe by carrying on
Like Son to the Father
Father to the Son
Lord please be my shepherd
Be my guide,

I wanna feel your salvation,
Being assured
To exist always forever
Free from darkness
Free from the night
For my soul don't wanna be blind
I always wanna see You in my life
I always wanna be in the everlasting light,

Please take away all misery,
All blindness from my eyes
Help me to overcome darkness
Take me to the light
Take my soul to that place
Where fire burns forever day and night,

Fill my spirit with your everlasting life
Lord please never leave me
Stay with me forever
And gently my soul please guide…

Through all day, Through all night
Lord please be my shepherd
In this troubled world
Please be my soul's guide,

Save it from eternal darkness
Save the heart from the night
Help me to be forever free
Lord in your name I pray
On my heart please have pity
For your mercy I'm begging Thee
Always forevermore
Please guide me with Your never ending love,

A star burns in the heavens

The angel flies to say the words,
 
Words of God's love for my yearning heart,
From so far away, So far away
A star burns in the heavens
So far away , So far away
From the highest of the never ending sky
The angel comes to bring God's love,

By giving me a new breath of life,
Into my bruised lonely heart
God sends the words of comfort,
A glimpse of hope for my life,

The knowledge of comfort
That He still caringly loves
It sends shivers down my spine
As the spirit is renewed again
To carry on in this hard weary life,

Even though I'm so far away
Yet my soul still knows
That He always cherishes,
And His heart deeply loves
Those that are contrite in spirit,
Yes He always comforts the humble
By uplifting them in this world.
