 Rog's Rhymes~~~This Lowly Man

This Lowly Man

How lowly was this strange man from the shores of ancient Galilee
Was said of him that, with roughly shod feet, he walked the turbulent sea
That with just a few loaves and fishes only, a great multitude he fed
That on a cross on a stony hill he died, for the sins of the world he bled

They say this lowly man brought life into a dead man lain in a tomb
That he was the Immaculate Conception born of a young virgin's womb
There is a story told that he healed the blind this lowly man from Galilee
But the greatest of all is the what this lowly man did for you and me
