`ˇ.¸¸.ˇ´¯ Lost Love: ¯`ˇ.¸¸.ˇ´´¯

I died a thousand deaths last night
As he slowly walked away
My gifts of love and happiness
Unopened where they lay
A silent tear slipped down my cheek
I couldn't make him stay
My hope of love and promises
Smashed like bits of clay
Goodbye, my love, I whispered
In silence I knelt to pray
My Lord to give my burdens
We had no more to say
Year have passed so swiftly
We move in different spheres
Our long encounter over
God has calmed my fears

Note:
On my divorce.
Sometimes,in my opinion,
we sadly outgrow each other.
