Irene's Treasure - Echoes of My Heart
^j^ ^j^ An Arguement ^j^ ^j^
^j^ ^j^ ^j^
What thoughs flashed through my mind
As I witnessed a lover's fight
I must insist not to cross the line
To remove petty things from sight
^j^ ^j^ ^j^
Forget all about your past
You will soon depend so much
And find tender loving care
In each other's gentle touch
^j^ ^j^ ^j^
As silver tints creep in your hair
The years will soon weave a bond
Tightly blending you as one
Which the world can look upon
^j^ ^j^ ^j^
Through the cold and setting suns
Together facing life's rough paths
You'll need each other in the dusk
Sharing things within your hearts
^j^ ^j^ ^j^
On that day one of you depart
There will be a tender place
Filled with the warm afterglow
Of two hearts blesed by grace
