In reply; To An Anguished Letter!Your anger is more than justified, But you are in a situation you control! You can let it go on, keep your mouth shut; Or dig yourself into a hole! The situation is this; Your friend is in a bind! But her choice is to live that life, She doesn't seem to mind! For this I can assure you now! If she abhorred it as much as you think! She would have left him years ago; Pooof, like that, in a blink! You see, he's a real sicko person! This we know is fact! But how do you really feel; About keeping your mouth shut; intact? Because one day the time will come! That he will take her life! And then the guilt within you true; Will cut you like a knife! 'Will I, should I, do I?' You ask; Well you need to analyze this fact! How will you feel when she's dead and gone? Will you be glad you kept your vow intact? Nope, no matter what you say; No matter the promise you'd vow! When all this is over; and she is dead, How will you feel then, how? Awful, you will put yourself though hell! This you know is true! So what you have to decide is this; What you are going to do! She leaves herself in this situation, And this I will tell you true! He may need her for his perversions! But she needs him to need her too! It's a power game, it is! A game of a dangerous kind! And destruction is the name of that game! Distortions of the mind! For they are sucking the life from each other! And no matter how you feel… This is happening, you are living it! Even though it's so surreal! He has twisted her mind and bent it; So that she stays and takes the cr*p! But beware, the day will come; That her life will finally crack! Don't you see what it is? She needs help, but can't find a way! She doesn't know what to do! So instead of going, she'll stay! Be it for right or wrong, No matter the reasons why! Stay she does, and takes the perversion! And this in effect, makes you cry! Sometimes we can't do for ourselves! And we need intervention to occur, And though you know you made that vow; You're allowed to break it; because you care! So what will it do? Break the friendship? Well this is the test you bear! Rather you'd lose her friendship, than her life! Wouldn't you rather have her here? So do what you have to do! But don't do if for a vow that will kill; For this you know, as I do; She will die at his hands, she will!!! She can-not rid this situation! But I swear it, this I will tell to you! I couldn't tell, fear kept me quiet, But I wished someone would tell it true! But they didn't! Because they were loyal! Loyal to whom! Sure the fu*k not me!!! Loyalty kills!!! You know it, I know it! We know it!!! So, what do you do? I know what I'd do… But you and I are different. In a situation like this, I don't do loyalty! I chose life over death! So vent your anger this way!
