...At 90...

At 90 when things are going west,
You're feeling knackered not at your best!
Everything's falling apart at the seams,
And a life of bliss is in your dreams!
You want to run and jump with glee,
But you've such a painful arthritic knee!
And your eyesight's started to fade real fast,
And you bones and joints are feeling last!

You can't see the light at the tunnels end,
Cos peace and tranquility aint a friend!
You're going to pot in your heart and head,
Knowing pretty soon you're gona be dead!
So you join the pensioners for a game
Of bingo, cos that's every old persons aim!
Your teeth are falling out, it seems,
(You've got none left), it's only in your dreams!

Your hips are shattered - they're all a dither,
The pain in your bum; makes you quiver!
Your knees are bent and weak and sore,
And you poor heart can't take no more!
But you keep yourself strong, in heart and mind,
Cos I have to say, the old body's a bind!
But on you plod, holding on to the zimmer,
Is that a twinkle in your eye, do I see glimmer?

The sparks are there, though the eyes are dead!
All small and droopy and painfully red!
Conjunctivitis is painful and all the rage
The doctors say it's related to age!
The days get longer cos you can't really sleep,
And this makes the lines in the face so creep
All old and wrinkly upon the face!
Yes, we get older and we loose our grace!

But when you look back, you fill with tears,
Cos old age wasn't wanted, it was one of your fears!
But one thing is certain in life today,
We are born to die, its nature's way
Of seeing off the old, letting in the new,
Cos after all, it's the only thing to do!
Cos if we get too old we'll fall apart quicker,
The body will fail and we'll get sicker!

But before I die, I will say one thing
Who the hell started - this bloody age thing!

...Damn...

It's all Gud Tho Innit!!
