♣♣♣

A man lookas miniture in size as he stands amid the ocean's waves
Humbled is he by this experience which he'll remember to his grave

♣♣♣

In all his wildest dreams he has never conceived this sight
The sounds echoe and are magnified, the waves dance in the light

♣♣♣

The murmur of the giant tide crash loudly in his ears
His entire body trembles and his eyes fill with tears

♣♣♣

He dare not move from where he stand, at the center of the ocean
He cannot quiet his coward's heart, he feels sick with emotion

♣♣♣

Where can he go from that point on? his legs refuse to obey
Many questions ring out clear, what is he doing out there?

♣♣♣

'Twas a second's thoughtless joke which made him climb out the boat
To walk upon that cement ledge, while fear gripped at his throat

 ♣♣♣

Now his victory is nought beside the the Lord's immensity
