Aunt Helen's Special Birthday!‘Little Grey Haired Old Lady!' We are having a dinner celebration; Because this is your special day! So here's a special poem for you, Sent to you to say! All your nephews and nieces; And family every one here; Wish you lots of love on your birthday, Yes, your 80th year! Now you are always busy here and there; Running all about! And you love playing your piano, Of that there is no doubt! You used to sit with mother and play, Singing the old song or two; You used to so enjoy the time, Playing the piano; mother and you! You have so many pastimes; Painting and sculpturing too! And swims 2 miles at a time, Oh but the things you do! You are active in the women's club, And are busy here and there; You have a special heart Aunt Helen, Because you really care! Now you and Uncle Roy joke all the time, And yes; that's truly great, Making fun of each other all the time; It must be down to fate! Because fate brought you both together, And united you like the turtle dove! And so we celebrate your 80th Aunt Helen, And we send you so much love! You're a little grey haired old lady, Because you tell us this all the while; But to us you are the cream of the crop! And you always make us smile! Your nephews and nieces are special to you! You have no children of your own; But this I have to say to you, You will never be alone! Because we are always there for you, Just as you are there for us; And that's why this special meal for you; Is to make a fuss! So have a wonderful evening Aunt Helen; May all your dreams come true! You are more precious than a gem, And that's why this poem's for you!! I absolutely love you, And of course the entire family all agree; So here it is, an abundance of love; Sent to you, from me!
