These tiny pebbles I have gathered so rare
Reminds me of heartaches which I don't need near
I simple forget them and don't really care
A bunch of flat pebbles I toss in the air

Across open rivers my peebles they bounch
A lot of old stones I can't really count
They weigh down my pockets in heavy amounts
From where they appear I can hardly recount

Whenever I'm troubled my peebles I hold
Ready to toss them in rivers so cold
I let go of problems, my worries controlled
As I won't let burdens make me grow old
Note:
The habit of collecting pebbles started as a child.
I tossed them away and had a good cry, whenever
something weighed heavy on my mind.
My Daddy taught me to do this and how to make them
skip over the surface.
