NUMB FOR WILLIE DAVISON

Purple paper, red ink
What can send me over the brink
Glad I am afraid of guns
My two sons
Are not depressed
As their mom
Put upon
I'm Blessed
That way
At least for today
God, help Carlotta
John too
Since Willie did
What I think I could do
I don't
I can't
I won't
I chant
God show me the way
Every second of everyday
No matter---I get down
There's misery all around
I know it will go away
If I just pray
God I pray for them tonight
That their son sees your light
Even though he wasn't scared of a gun
We are still here lost without him
If he won...
