This Diabetic Almost Went Into A Coma!You've knocked me socks off Joe Freeman! Well holly hocks and sugar plumbs! Just what do I espy? A poem just for me; Well I think am gona cry! I've been out all day today, Running here and there! Well, not with my legs exactly, But using my electric chair! I don't know when you sent this; Please don't think you've been ignored, Cos I had to compose myself; Cos I really and truly was floored! I never expected a reply you know; (Oh dear, that sounds lame)! But you know what I mean… I thought it would be the same! So here I am all flabbergasted, To see the email you sent to me! I think it's really cool! Wow, it's prolific you will be! Anyway; I sent to you a poem, Telling you of my plight! That which interrupts me dreams, In the darkest hour of night! I guess since it's so long ago, In me other name and address, You really won't be able; To sort out this flippin' mess! So never mind, it's not a problem, Cos I always give to you anyway! So sack off what I've paid to you, Cos your poem made my day! If you give me all the details, I will set up a new direct debit, And there it'll be, every time, A little bit of credit! I have really missed my magazine, This I tell you true; Cos I believe in keeping up to date; Of course as I should do! Now then, maybe I didn't tell you this? But I'm a world wide published poet! Yep, it's true, I really am, And if you search the web; you'll know it! 2 major books all over the world, And another on its way! So one day I'll make you famous! In fact, I'll add this right away! And then I'll send it off! And you're name will be well read! All because you sent me a poem! But Joe, please don't get a big head!!! So then, what do you think; Would you like to see your name in a book? If you do, do I name you fully? So people will know who you are with a look! Just imagine your name in lights! Well ok, an exaggeration! But it will be in the book you know! And maybe cause you adulation! Am I kidding, nope, I'm not! I'm as serious as I am true! But no matter what you say to that!
