If We Only Try!If we only try to do the things we want, Instead of focussing true! Then what's the point of bothering? With that something we want to do! Because a half baked cake is no use, It's only fit for the bin! You can't eat a soggy cake! So that day you wouldn't win! So as you prepare your food for that day, Make sure the oven is really hot, For we don't want another half baked one! Cos tell me, what have you got? You've got a soggy mess! The stuff is all over the floor! Just like us, if we stay negative, Help won't come knocking at your door! You have to seek to find in life! The ingredients that you need! To make the cake a better one: So my words, please, do heed! If we only try to get dressed of a day, And we don't bother with one sock, Then your feet will be cold that day! So tell me, what have you got? You've got a half baked idea! Rolling around your brain, Worry for this, fretting for that, Driving you half insane! So then, trying to do is a waste of time, You have to do it, do it for you! For then, and only then; Is your positive showing through! You can't in all truthfulness make that cake, Every morning when you awake! For that's a waste of a beautiful day! So hold it together for goodness sake! And listen to two wise females! For we shall only tell you true! That no matter what tomorrow brings; Today is here for you! So wake up to every morning, With a heart that's happy and bright, Lose those negative thoughts, And rid the nightmares of the night! So tonight as you lay you down to sleep; Keep these thoughts in your head; Tis better to face the day struggling, Instead of being dead! So you see, a half baked cake is useless; Tis only the good cake that brings us to the fore; So you never, ever try it, you do it!! And then you'll feel happier once more!
