Three Haiku Poems

Dusk (Haiku)

Breathless subtle hues,
performing their final dance,
succomb to darkness.

Storms (Haiku)

Bolts of lightning fly
waking up the sky until,
an awesome rainbow.

Waves (Haiku)

Daunting twelve foot waves,
Curling their lips in mid air,
crash with wrath below.

Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry, traditionally about nature, that has three lines, not necessarily rhyming, with a 5/7/5 rhythm in syllables.
