There Is A SeasonLamb of God set aside His glory for a season, Guiding His children with righteous reason. The change of seasons will lead to His peace, Faith is flourishing, while followers increase. Warm seasons of sun help crops to bare Fruit chosen by hands of pure grace and care. Winters arrive where life enters into sleep, Awakening new to eternal Spring's keep. For a season we were slaves, until He made us free Through Christ our Lord and His victory. Throughout all the seasons the angels will sing, While we worship and praise our Saviour and King. Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Julie Pisacane © 2006 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
