A life filled with simple things
Rich in health not in wealth
To hear the chirp of baby birds
The rainddrop music clearly heard

On rooftops dark and window panes
Are my happy heart's only gain

To see a million stars aglow
To measure my kids as they grow

To walk again on grasses green
In barefeet pleasure is my dream

To dip my toes in the oceans old
To giggle as its tide splash cold

What symphonies I hear

Alone in prayer

With my Savior near

To feel the kiss of my children's lips
The touch of their cool fingertips

Oh what joy for me is the sounds
Of little feet runing up and down

All around my peaceful home

My symphony is the greatest sound
Of my every day's warm breath aloud

To lay in hammocks in the breeze
To hear the rustle of the leaves

When Fall wind scatters them from trees
