There's a rush of feelings
Which overwhelms my mind
As I sit in fond revere
To write a favorite line
(―`._.€°
My wandering thoughts gather close
As in a fenced coral
Words flow like waterfalls
They are displayed for one and all
(―`._.€°
Lines of rhymns are given birth
Created by a magic wand
And then my poems do appear
All by my poet's hand
(―`._.€°
The joy of writing heals my soul
And brings my heart sweet peace
My days are much brighter now
I know my words won't cease

So sit awhile and contemplate
Our kindred souls will meet
In this land of written words
Through poetry at our feet
