Some Days!

Some days seem to just run
so easy!

Today was one of
those days.

The buzz in the room was happy, zippy,
energetic and comfortably calm!

Each child sat at their desk,
with a look of calm contentment,
as they completed their spelling
activities.

Sensible sentences were finished
in a flourish, then silly sentences
quickly flashed onto their pages.

They love making up nonsense
sentences.
I don't care how silly they are,
as long as the spelling is correct!

Jonathan had a great idea for a
nonsense poem, using his spelling words.
With the help of Lora, he wrote
and typed it out.

He showed the principal and came
back to class with a lolly pop,
a certificate and a huge smile!

Sedef energetically worked on an
imaginary story about butterfly
princesses and fairy queens!

Christian eventually understood
how to put lists of numbers
into order from smallest to largest!

Dominic got excited about
the prospect of winning an art
competition.

He practised a variety of drawings
in his book with a sparkle smile
all over his face!

Some days are so easy!

Joy Weare.
