Men need to understand that they don't have
To be strong all the time,
I understand that they have a heart,
And it hurt as well as mine.
It has been said that a man is not suppose to cry
This is what some men have been told,
But a good cry is like a talk with God
It is such a cleansing for the soul.
I say when your heart hurt, and start to bleed,
Have a good cry if there is a need.
I don't know what goes on inside of a real man,
But I as your woman, friend, will let you cry, and understand.
I will feel the pain that you are going through,
And will not be afraid to cry with you.
It takes a big man to let the pain show,
It takes a bigger man to let it go.
When a man can reach way down inside,
And let go of all of that foolish pride.
So when the tears fall down your face, and I take your hand,
Know that I have been hurt, and understand the tears of a man.
