RELIGIOUS FANATICS


It's pretty simple
God is love
In his temple
Heaven's above

It's rather keen
If you believe
In what you haven't seen
Then you won't leave

This life he gave
It is his will
Because you are saved
By what you feel

He knows your insides
Your outsides too
He knows the pain you hide
Deep there in the core of you

Do you love your fellow man?
Or walk by with your nose up in the air
Do you understand?
It's all about what you do here

Pray for your transgressors
Or better yet make them your friends
Don't let those you love be guessers
Tell them you love them until the end

All the bible verses in the book
Can be repeated to each ear
While you can take a long look
To see those who say they're Christians don't often care

Or they'd be more like the Lord
Living love and giving all
Instead their empty words are poured
For their self righteousness is not God's call...
