Cindy Personal Poem 04/1987
History: Birthday gift. Sister wants her to know she cares. They've had good and bad times. Cindy wants a pass to a tanning spa for her birthday. She is also concerned about turning thirty.
Cindy
'Twas the year of nineteen fifty-seven
You arrived here from Heaven.
Then you became my big sister.
Oft times I wondered if God weren't a jester.
Through the years we've had our ups and downs.
We've grown best of friends, corny as it sounds.
After thirty years in the weather,
You already look like leather.
So, there's no need to tan your hide
Even if you're a kid at heart inside.
Your thirtieth birthday is nothing to fret though,
'Cuz no matter where you go,
No matter what you do,
Always remember....
      I Love You!

Written in script then mounted antiqued wood.
