History: Forty year anniversary gift. Tradition of a ruby for forty years. Met in Cabrini Green park, 1947. Father Lewis married them. Rosalie is a mother of 3 children. Sam likes to garden. The first year they were married they planted a fig tree. Every time they moved they took a slip from it and planted it by their new home.
The Scifo Ruby
This Scifo ruby shines in the light.
It dazzles and sparkles everyone's sight.
It began in the year of 1947
Sam and Rosalie entered their heaven.
'Twas in the park in Cabrini Green:
Fertile ground for love serene.
After Father Lewis planted their seeds
Sam kept their garden free of weeds.
Rosalie blossomed three fold.
Now there's a few more Scifo
With their love they planted a tree of fig:
Each time they moved they took a twig.
After forty years they've really branched out.
They'll live happily ever after, I've no doubt.
