American Pride

American pride;
Many people just take it in stride.
They say we stand tall;
They say we're above them all.
We say united we stand;
That we are a better land.
But when push comes to shove;
We are like little doves.
We scavenge and pillage
Our society is going down in a mass spillage.
When we are hit hard just look around;
It won't be a terrorist on the ground.
It will be one of our own.
We have not changed only grown.
We are greedy and selfish.
Many smell like rotten shellfish.
If there is a chance to steal;
We'll take sweet of the deal.
We are not trustworthy;
We stab backs so worry.
I tell it how it is no sugar coat,
I'll push you off the boat.
Get you wet make you open your eyes.
I'll make you realize.
This world is in ruins;
Mainly in our ranks is the trouble brewin.
American pride;
Many of us just push it aside.
