One Life's Pilgrimage
ETERNAL LAW by Sonja
If duality persists,
a perfect balance - The Perfect Law,
then the highs will always be followed by the lows.
What road does that leave man to rove?
Only the Path to Godliness
will give cause for
a deeply sustained joy
to persist.
And ugly ups and downs
if this reality we resist.
The human feelings,
always on the surface and subject
to the ever-changing stimuli of the world,
have a tendency to control
and keep us
from feeling the eternal
longing of our Soul.
Striving for Godliness
is Being the only worthwhile goal.
