Tom, Tom, The Liverpool Son!We came to Warner's on holiday! Cos we wanted to sit in the sun! But alas – it rained all week, Oh golly gee it wasn't fun! But we booked for a special occasion! It's with Tom O'Connor we wanted to be!! So we got all overcome with excitement, Cos it's the Liverpool lad we wanted to see! We really couldn't wait to see you! The day arrived and you were on the stage, Oh cor blimey and sugar plumbs lad! Your jokes are all the rage! Now we Liverpool girls are very shy, Well – at least I think we are? But shyness went through the window! When we saw you! Tom, you star! I saw you quite a while ago! I think it was maybe on a boat! And all the people gathered round! Cos your jokes kept us all afloat! So here's a special poem Tom! Just to say we think you're great! Next time you're at Warner's we'll be here too! Yep, that's a special date!! So from this world wide published poet!
