Heart Of The Matter

Calls Me Home

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

The snow fell,
Relentless and determined,
Masking all sense of colour,
My green and pleasant hills invisible to my eyes,
The landscape stark and bleak,
My day timeless,
Tortured,
This sanctuary I seek,

There is silence in the snow,
It brings a calm,
And I am cocooned,
In the embrace,

All is white in my world,
All darkness gone,
And only the tree,
Speaks to me,
And calls me home.
