As I Wander
As I wander through the woods under many towering trees,
The branches gently whisper among a quieting breeze.
Passing by a brook that wants to babble all the day
Persuading me to stay by her and listen to what she has to say.
Then, the seaside calls out loud with a splendorous sea spray
Telling me to take a walk to watch the piping plovers play.
How I long to rest under the friendly moon now glowing
Minding the symphony of stars as they softly start to sing.
In harmony they sing with joy throughout the glorious sky
Giving praise to the Holy One who set them all on high.
Everything in its perfect place puts a smile on my face
For all is done by the hands of God and the goodness
Of His grace.
