Awakening
I stand here tall
with my head held high
I've learned from many mistakes
to stop and truly love myself
I've found strength being on my own
I wasted so many nights,
shedding an ocean of tears
when what I truly needed
grace, purity, love, and passion
was there waiting inside of me
this is my rebirth, my awakening
derived from my soul.
