I could get a dog,
To walk in the park,
Handsome and strong,
Eager and loving,
I could get a dog,
But I'm afraid of his bark,
I should get a dog,
To pet late at night,
Delightfully docile,
Cosy and cute,
I should get a dog,
But I'm scared that he'd bite.
I would get a dog,
A caring companion,
Loyal and faithful,
Trusting and true,
I would get a dog,
But I'd rather have you.
