Eternal Song of Joy
In the calmness of the morning
Throughout each and everyday,
A song of joy echoes in my heart
Pure joy that will forever stay.
Staying with me wherever I go...
Sensing God's touch that makes joy grow.
For it longs to be shared with many others
Who are now my dear sisters and brothers.
My song now dances off my lips
And escapes into the air.
Song of joy is heard by our Lord
Our Lord who always takes great care.
Great care of those He fills with love
Love and joy as peaceful as a dove
Flying free with wings of grace…
Touching hearts everywhere, every place.
Every place needs this song,
So we softly sing as we journey along.
Our song can make the night seem bright
For it reflects the love from our One True Light.
True Light is why we can rejoice
And gladly lift up to Him our voice.
He is our reason to praise and sing
And why we delight in everything.
