Forgiving and Forgetting
We remember of the past,
That rather would forget;
For the shadows they cast,
That are causing us to fret.
But if you do truly repent,
Of deep within your heart;
The Holy Spirit was sent,
By God giving clean start.
When you committed sin,
Against a brother or sister;
Forgiveness from that kin,
Also must heal that blister.
God is willing to forgive,
When totally in remorse;
But when in sincere motive,
And changing your course.
If everything not complete,
No matter how much regret;
Your salvation is in defeat,
Because God can not forget.
