No One Told Me

Something's different.
My flowers had the most
delicious taste today.
Before, I only smelled
their sweet fragrance.
They are calling for rain,
but I see only sunshine.
Do I look taller?
Air is now my pavement.
What's happening?
My skin is glowing, my cheeks are rosy,
yet I wear no make-up.
Was that me I heard giggling?
Wait! That love song just mentioned my name!
Oh, my tummy is dancing.
Is this how it feels to be in love?
No one told me.
