Last Letter
I have an unconquerable love
That is eating away at my very soul
I scribble away my undying affections for you
In this half light of my colorless room
While the candles sway back and forth
The shadows play games upon the stone walls...
I try to tell you my dear how much I miss you
As my pen screeches across the vellum
Be brave as I shall be...
For when that mighty blow falls
My last thought will be of you my lovely lady
Walter.
