I’m just wading
Tired.

Random Ramblings from a Random Mind
For Max, who will always live within me
My eyes so swollen
from the tears that i've cried
its only been six months
since the day that you died
Your memories envelope me
i think of only you
of how you loved me so much
and how l always loved you too
Your eyes were always warm
no matter what i did
and you never called me names
youd just kiss me on my head
I remember how i envied you
when you were full of life
and im sorry for how i treated you
those last years before you died
I should have given you more
we should have walked everyday
i should have never slammed my door
and screamed 'go away'
I know you loved me
just as i loved only you
but you could have had better
with that i'll not argue
And now with all that said
i must say one more thing
you were the best dog i could have
no matter what you think
I'm glad you were mine
though i wish id been nicer
we were together for a short time
but your memory will be forever.
